I grew up dancing, and when I discovered yoga during college, I was immediately captivated by the combination of movement and mindfulness. Yoga has been a constant companion in my life ever since.

Throughout my 20-year career as a social worker, therapist, and life coach, I’ve developed a deeper understanding of the benefits of yoga. Breath and movement are powerful tools that can help regulate the nervous system and create space for us to process life experiences. The desire to share these benefits with others inspired me to become a yoga instructor.

Over the years, I have studied many yoga styles, and in 2021 I completed 200 hours of Registered Yoga Training (RYT) with Angie Knight at Sacred Space Teacher Training.

Whether teaching a challenging vinyasa class or gentler, deeper yin sequences, my goal is for students to leave the mat feeling more grounded, calm, and connected to themselves. Every practice is an opportunity to use the power of movement to feel more centered, quiet the ongoing noise of life, and find greater mental clarity.

The yoga mat is a great place to come home to yourself and find connection in body and mind—I look forward to seeing you there!
