After practicing yoga sporadically for many years I found my way back to it again after experiencing a life-changing loss. I joined Laura Teal’s Beginners’ Series and found the regular practice of yoga to be essential to my emotional healing. This led me to want to deepen my knowledge of the yoga philosophy and to share it with others.
In December 2018 I completed the Waking Yoga trauma informed 200-hour teacher training under the guidance of Angie Knight and Jenn Wooten.
My intention for my class is to offer a welcoming, loving space that is supportive and inclusive where you’ll be able to find yourself grounded and at home in your own body and mind.
Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and after spending a couple of decades in Orlando, Florida, I have called Austin home since 2011. You can usually find me reading, drinking lots of tea, listening to music or playing my ukulele, and spending time with my 2 teenage boys and our dog, Piper.
