(she/her)
G’Nell Price is an experienced yoga teacher with thousands of hours of training and teaching. She has been practicing yoga since 1998, and teaching since 2006. Her extensive knowledge base for different styles and methods of Hatha Yoga, includes: Anusara, Baptiste Power Vinyasa, Forrest Yoga, and many others. G'Nell's teaching style honors and is inspired by her long time teacher, Christina Sell.
When she studied at the Sivananda Ashram, G’Nell was inducted into a mantra and given the yoga name, Karuna, “she who is full of compassion”, which appropriately describes her dedicated teaching. Her classes are lighthearted and challenging: you will feel supported, experience blissful alignment, leaving with inspiration in your heart and a smile on your face.
She works full time as an Assistant Principal at Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, supervising the department for students with complex access needs and multiple impairments. G’Nell has witnessed amazing results for the differently-abled children practicing yoga. The radiant children at TSBVI are her inspiration and continually teach her about her own path.
On a personal note, G'Nell is an avid runner, backpacker, loves live music, and has a festival loving family that includes her husband, two kids and their cute dogs Pippi and Oscar Price. Come to her class to learn, laugh, sweat and shine!
