To start a yoga practice, you just need YOU. And a willingness to begin. Join MYC co-founder, Laura Teal, for a workshop suitable for folks new to yoga, people who've been practicing but want some guidance on alignment for their body, and for yoga teachers interested in teaching beginners.
My hope is that you’ll find that Yoga is a tool for meeting yourself where you are; I’m looking forward to meeting you there too.
In this workshop, we will learn and practice foundational yoga postures and breathing techniques.
To prepare:
wear comfortable clothing you can move in
bring a mat, if you have one; our mat rentals are free, otherwise!
if you enjoy learning by writing, you might choose to bring a notebook
eat 2-3 hours before class so that you don't have a full stomach when you arrive
come with questions, a curious mind, and an open heart
